@AzzyWynn Slash … @AzzyWynn Slash should stay in his comfort zone, he is perfect there. Though he has done some very different things aswell on a few of their songs, and lot’s of it on concerts. But as a whole there is a huge difference between the early and the late Guns, not like ZZ Top though, but still.
@pestopalooza I … @pestopalooza I tried posting a link but it wouldn’t let me! You tube sucks! or maybe I am just stupid. Anyway… Look up Tomahawk “God Hates a Coward” it is one of Pattons side projects and choose the first entry. And Faith No More “Ashes to Ashes” The Faith No More is probably one you haven’t heard before because it’s off their last album. Watch the real video on this one if you can. Peace bro!
@AzzyWynn ya i know … @AzzyWynn ya i know its cool lol any suggestions for patton songs to listen to then? ill give him another shot i guess (as long as its not the song epic at least lol)
@pestopalooza You … @pestopalooza You were talking about Mike Patton, sorry. I like Patton for generally the same reason as Weiland but Patton is far beyond Weiland. IMHO, Patton is a genius. He gets bored and does some stuff that is really avant garde and hard to listen to, but the man has the best vocal chops when he really tries.
@pestopalooza I can … @pestopalooza I can see why people don’t like his voice, that is a personal taste I guess. The thing I like about Scott Weiland is that he is musically adventurous. His music doesn’t sound the same as it did, say in the early nineties. I am a big fan of Slash, don’t get me wrong, but he has never left his comfort zone and stretched himself artistically. But when it comes down to it, it’s all personal taste.
@AzzyWynn no … @AzzyWynn no offense but can I just ask why people like him so much? to me he sounds like hes a helium sucking hybrid of Anthony Kleidis and Axl Rose sorry but slash and co. would be the ones being restricted
Slash picks up his … Slash picks up his signature Gibson Les Paul and plays some classic riffs.
From Guns N’ Roses to Velvet Revolver, Slash has changed the rock landscape with his rough and ready riffs to his soulful leads, becoming one of worlds most recognizable guitarists along the way. Join us as one of rock’s true legends shares his experiences and offers insights from his celebrated and distinguished career.
Scott isn’t a great … Scott isn’t a great singer in my opinion, and the way he moves is so stupid, so I don’t think it’s a big loss for the band. By the way, I wonder why Matt’s drum sets are so much smaller now. His kits he used with Guns were so cool.
