What do you think he will negotiate?
Your daughters to be married off to terrorists so that they can make more terrorists? Or maybe, he’ll negotiate our security by embracing the terrorist organization and invite them for tea at the WH?
What could we possibly "negotiate" with Hamas?
Do you remember how proud Bush was when the Palestinians had elections and elected Hamas? The whole elections were pushed by Bush. They were democratically elected thanks to GW Bush. Israel did not want the elections…Bush insisted.
President Bush accepted the stunning election results in the Palestinian territories yesterday, saying the landslide victory of the militant Islamic group Hamas was rejection of the "status quo" and a repudiation of the "old guard" that had failed to provide honest government and services.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also put on a brave face, saying "we still have every reason for hope and for optimism" because voter turnout was high and free from violence. She said the Palestinian people were "expressing their desire for change," because they "have endured governance that was, by all accounts, not meeting their needs."
Against the advice of Israeli officials, the Bush administration had pushed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to hold the elections without delay.
Thumb me down, but this is the history…you should learn some of it.

Show me where did Obama say it:
"I’m very concerned with the conflict taking place there, I’m monitoring the situation on a day to day basis," the president-elect told reporters, continuing:
The loss of civilian life in Gaza and in Israel is a source of deep concern to me. After January 20th I’m going to have plenty to say about the issue, and I am not backing away at all from what I said during the campaign, that starting at the beginning of our administration, we are going to be engaged effectively and consistently in trying to resolve the conflict in the Middle East…
So on January 20th you’ll be hearing directly from me on this issue. Until then, my job is to monitor the situation and put together the best possible national security team so we hit the ground running on national security issues.

whatever… there is no truthful negotiating with terrorists… they are known liars so there is no way you can trust them… there is one way to deal with them and Israel has had to resort to it as they have tried to appease the terrorists over and over again…

Yes I’m sure his solution is to send my daughter off to marry some radical Muslim.

Hamas is a terrorist organization and needs to be dismantled, preferrably peacefully by Palestinians. Then Palestinians can get on with the business of becoming equal to Israelis under the eyes of a lawful, democratic government. But let’s not get carried away with sending daughters to Gaza.

Contrary to popular Republican belief, you can’t make problems go away by ignoring them.
