Brazilian President Lula Da Silva is heading to Russia to engage Russian President Medvedev in talking about not sanctioning Iran. Brazil has advanced a proposal to unblock the Iranian nuclear dossier that is in fact the common view among the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China). President Medvedev has warned Iran that President Da Silvas visit is the last chance Iran has before another round of sanctions.

The irony is that the greatest immediate threat to the USA is not Iran as we all know. They are the economy/financial crisis, the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and the failed Mexican state with its drug war. Unemployed desperate people riot or they just die. California the largest US state just cleaved a huge chunk of welfare spending. The people in Gulf coast should be rioting for loss of jobs and having to live next to a toxic dump.
