Contrast the negotiations between the US and Britain over the Oregon Territory and the US and Mexico over the?

Posted by admin on June 4th, 2010 and filed under negotiations | 2 Comments »

How did the negotiations between the United States and Britain over the Oregon Territory differ from those between the United States and Mexico over the Southwest?

    Help please?

& please no bull crap saying "do your own homework!"

i just need a little help jeeeeez.

    please and thanks.

The US had defeated Mexico in a war that was sparked by conflicting border claims and occupied Mexico City — their capital. It essentially dictated the terms under which the US acquired the Southwest. They actually paid Mexico for the land though. The negotiations between Britain and US ended up resolving the conflicting claims by establishing terms of earlier treaties to extend all the way to the Pacific Ocean (with a few exceptions) and there was no money exchanged in the process. The US and Britain also did not end up at war over this issue.

Are builders open to negotiations in selling their new homes?

Posted by admin on May 30th, 2010 and filed under negotiations | 7 Comments »

Our real estate agent says that builders are not open to negotiating their price but would be open to negotiation with respect to upgrades. Is this true or is our agent pulling a fast one?

Your agent might be honest, but ignorant. Yes, you can expect there to be a 25% reduction if your agent is good. Sadly, yours isn’t. Always have your own, never use the builders agent.

    FAQ:
Q: wat progam did u us 4 lite saburs
A: Good God, learn how to spell! And I didn’t make them; spugesdu did. Ask him, ok?
Q: Mind if I pretentiously count off the things that are good and bad with this movie?
A: Yes; please don’t. (Actually, people don’t bother asking, but I figured it couldn’t hurt.)
Q: Will there be a sequel?
A: Probably not. I don’t like running an idea into the ground (unless it’s something breathtakingly fresh and original like prank calls) and, given the ending, there’s not much room for a sequel.
**UPDATE**: I thought of an idea for a sequel that only stars a couple of the same characters. Maybe I’ll make it, maybe I won’t.

Now that Obama has said he is going to open negotiations with Hamas?

Posted by admin on May 27th, 2010 and filed under negotiations | 10 Comments »

What do you think he will negotiate?

Your daughters to be married off to terrorists so that they can make more terrorists? Or maybe, he’ll negotiate our security by embracing the terrorist organization and invite them for tea at the WH?

What could we possibly "negotiate" with Hamas?

Do you remember how proud Bush was when the Palestinians had elections and elected Hamas? The whole elections were pushed by Bush. They were democratically elected thanks to GW Bush. Israel did not want the elections…Bush insisted.

President Bush accepted the stunning election results in the Palestinian territories yesterday, saying the landslide victory of the militant Islamic group Hamas was rejection of the "status quo" and a repudiation of the "old guard" that had failed to provide honest government and services.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also put on a brave face, saying "we still have every reason for hope and for optimism" because voter turnout was high and free from violence. She said the Palestinian people were "expressing their desire for change," because they "have endured governance that was, by all accounts, not meeting their needs."

Against the advice of Israeli officials, the Bush administration had pushed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to hold the elections without delay.

Thumb me down, but this is the history…you should learn some of it.

Why did the Yankees front office pull Hughes out of the Johan Santana trade negotiations?

Posted by admin on May 24th, 2010 and filed under negotiations | 9 Comments »

Who the hell do they think they are? they can pull hughes out and still get minnesota to accept?
not trading for Johan basically means they would rather see an unproven 21 year old Hughes develop than having the best pitcher in all of baseball……a very boneheaded decision. Getting Johan would mean they’re right up there with the red sox, perhaps even better in the AL east but now…they’re still not as good.

First of all, the Twins were completely trying to "rape" the Yankees, with the help of the Red Sox. The original offer made by the Yankees was the best offer anyone could have made for a player with Santana’s stats. They insisted on Melky and Hughes, then Ian Kennedy. That’s all due to the Red Sox desire to completely control the AL East. Even with the start they had they almost collapsed and the Yankees almost took the East. The Red Sox made a deal so weak for Santana, including Coco Crisp and Jon Lester, the Twins couldn’t make that deal because they would expose that they were in cohoots with MLB to keep the Yankees down!!! It’s just a thought!!! Good for the Mets!!!!

What were the negotiations for the "rules" of last nights debate?

Posted by admin on May 21st, 2010 and filed under negotiations | 2 Comments »

It seemed to me they heavily favored Hillary.

There was no time limit set
They were sitting down (perception of height difference)
They didn’t respond to each other directly.

What are your thoughts and comments specifically about the rules of the debate?

Well, hillary supporters will say different.

I think the rules were fair…it was a good debate..but I’m sick of them now..

and hillary supporters need to chill out with there spitefl deameanor. Seems the reason they like Hillary is because they will claw to the top at all odds–just like her. THey make me sick! Clinton is great–her supporters are NOT!

I am in negotiations to buy a house were the owner owns the mineral rights to the property. What are they?

Posted by admin on May 18th, 2010 and filed under negotiations | 4 Comments »

The home owner said they were negotiable, but it seems like she doesn’t really want to give them up. I guess I am wondering who I can contact to find out exactly what we are talking about and the worth?

in real estate, you own the land, the space under the land to the center of the earth and the space above the land (air rights). Any one of these 3 things can be sold.

For example, if there is oil under the land, you could sell the right to drill, but keep the land and air rights.

You should find out WHY they are doing this.
